Survival Strategies
Survival Strategies for Parenting Children with Mental and Developmental
Disorders (ADHD, Bipolar, Autistic Spectrum, Obsessive Compulsive,
Generalized Anxiety Disorders)

The group will focus on:

  • dealing with rages, depression, suicidal ideation, oppositional behavior, episodes of violence;
  • managing academic and behavior issues in school, sensory problems, lack of common sense;
  • making hard decisions: psychiatric hospitalizations, police  involvement;
  • finding the best doctors, therapists, schools, teachers for your children;
  • taking care of yourselves and family members involved in daily life with the affected child

The group will be meeting every Monday evening at 7 o’clock
